TIMAC and Software College, one of the leading colleges at Tongji University, will start a new four-year undergraduate program in autumn 2008 – Media Art and Digital Science. The program has courses in three areas: aesthetics and creativity of art, image engineering, and software design.
Because TIMAC is responsible for the fourth Theme Pavilion of 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the subject for study and research will mainly be based on high-technology for the World Expo.

Director of TIMAC, Xiao Hui Wang, has already recruited master students in media art. Concerning teaching staff, we will invite internationally well-known professors in media art from our partners, e.g. ZKM in Germany, Art+Com, Bauhaus University, V2 etc.
