四 . New Media Art Design at Zendai Radisson Hotel
The Zendai Radisson Hotel is a five-star hotel affiliated to Zendai Group. Its architectural design has won many international awards. The manager wanted to decorate it with media art to be unique among hotels in Shanghai. In 2007 Xiao Hui Wang, the Director of TIMAC, was asked to be the designer. Professor Xiao Hui Wang and German Architect Peter Luedicke cooperated to accomplish the concept of the design named “Flourishing Rebirth”, which has received wholehearted appraise. Their design has also been awarded ‘Outstanding Work of the Year' by the German magazine “Novum”.
